Investing in your child’s future by choosing an excellent, Christ-centered education is the best investment you can make! As one parent recently told me, “If I am going to spend money on one thing for my child, I want it to be for his education.” However, we realize that it can be a financial strain to enroll at a Christian school. We do not want tuition to be a barrier to Christian families, so SJCS supports a number of families through financial assistance. SJCS is committed to helping Christian families afford excellent Christian education.

Financial Assistance by the numbers:

  • 10% of our budget is used for tuition discounts and financial assistance

  • 49 students received financial assistance for the 2018-2019 school year

  • $3600 is the average amount of financial assistance given per student

  • $10,000 in Endowment Scholarships are given each year to current students who are returning the following year

From the Council for American Private Education

Faith-based schools have narrower achievement gaps, significant academic advantages and better student behavioral outcomes. Findings from a meta-analysis of 90 studies on the effects of schools conducted by William Jeynes, senior fellow at the Witherspoon Institute in Princeton, New Jersey, and a professor at California State University, Long Beach, calls religious schools “the best hope for American education” and says the nation should “rethink its strategy of espousing charter schools and overlooking the benefits of faith-based education.”
