Commitment of Faith

San Jose Christian School is a Christian school for Christian families. Please read our Statement of Faith to learn more about what we believe and about our Reformed approach to education. We aim to establish a strong relationship between church, home, and school.

In the Online Application, you will be asked to include a clergy recommendation. This form must be completed by a pastor or clergy member where your family regularly attends services.

Academic Assessment

All students entering grades JK-8 will be required to complete an Academic Assessment. Prior to enrolling at SJCS, students entering grades JK-K take the Gesell Developmental Observation test, and students entering grades 1-8 take an Academic Assessment developed by our school. A $100 fee is required to administer Academic Assessments.
 

Immunization

Within 30 days of starting at San Jose Christian, children must meet immunization requirements as set by the State of California. Details can be found on the California Department of Public Health website.
 

Additional Preschool Requirements

In order to enroll in our Infant Care program, children must be at least 3 months old. Our Preschool program begins at age 2, and any child 2.5 years or older is required to be fully potty trained.
