Professional Biography

I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Community and Regional Development driven by a desire to support communities and people around the world. To further pursue this goal, I obtained my M.A. in Teaching from the University of Southern California, and my California Teaching Credential. After graduating, I worked as an elementary school teacher at an international school in Myanmar for four years. Then, the Lord directed my steps back to my home church where I served as a children’s pastor for the past two years.

Personal Biography

I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I have always enjoyed exploring new places, being in nature, working with my hands, or spending time with loved ones. For around seven years, I lived overseas—teaching, traveling, and learning about different cultures and people. I am grateful to be back in California, to be near friends and family again, and to grow as a Christian educator and leader.

Christian Philosophy of Education

All of creation points to God, so the subjects that are taught in the classroom are meant to point to who God is and who we are in light of His Word. It is my hope to integrate faith within the classroom, encourage critical thinking, and give young people the space to ask questions and wrestle with their understanding of who God is. It is my privilege to be a teacher who can share the beauty of Christ with them and walk alongside them as a guide and mentor.
