Marlene Allen

Professional Biography

My entire career has been spent educating young children. My passion for education began as a Teacher Assistant, and through my commitment, and a deep love for children, I advanced into leadership roles, ultimately serving as a director. I have been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for 20+ years. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Adolescence Development and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been blessed to work in Christian Schools throughout my career and have witnessed the lasting impact that Christian Education can have on children, families, and communities.

Personal Biography

I was born and raised in San Jose. My husband Bryan and I have been married since 2002 and are blessed with 2 daughters, Makayla and Taylor. I love trying new recipes and hosting people in our home. The beach is my happy place and I love just spending time with my family. We have lots of fun adventures together. 

Christian Philosophy of Education 

I believe that a Christian early childhood program should reflect the love, grace, and truth of Jesus in all interactions. Biblical values such as kindness, respect, compassion, honesty, service, and forgiveness should be naturally woven into daily routines and learning experiences. As an educator, I am committed to creating a welcoming environment where every child and family feels seen, valued, and supported. My goal has been to create educational spaces that reflect Christ’s love, promote excellence in learning, and encourage children to grow into confident, compassionate, and faithful individuals. I believe every child is a unique creation of God, made in His image and deeply loved by Him, and I desire for children to recognize their purpose as children of God.
