Professional Biography

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience in 2025 and am excited to bring my love for Jesus, science, and nearly a decade of teaching and ministry-focused experience to SJCS. My background includes university lab support, worship leading and mentorship, educational support, and research on both endangered species and the antioxidants found in kale. Shortly after graduating from university, during a STEM summer camp counseling role, I discovered my calling to teach STEM from a biblical perspective. I aim to create a Christ-centered, engaging, and hands-on approach that inspires students to grow academically, spiritually and socially.

Personal Biography

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada, I grew up in a close-knit family that loved church, the outdoors, sports, and board games. Although I was raised in the church, as a teenager I began believing the lie that I wasn’t good enough, which affected many areas of my life. In my early twenties, God surrounded me with a community that spoke truth and the Gospel into my life, helping me see myself as He sees me; loved, chosen, and created with purpose. Since then, I have been passionate about sharing this hope with youth and young adults, speaking at conferences, and mentoring students as they discover their identity in Christ alongside the freedom and peace He offers.

Christian Philosophy

I love finding connections between faith and science. You’ll often find me journaling with the Lord, asking why Jesus chose to compare faith to a mustard seed, why a mulberry tree is so hard to uproot, or why the protein laminin is shaped like a cross while also anchoring cells and holding the body together. I believe science and math aren’t meant to be studied apart from the One who created them, and I find joy in making these meaningful connections and sharing them with others. I also believe that every person is designed in God’s image, that we’ve all fallen short of His glorious standard, and that through Jesus Christ we can experience His forgiveness and restoration. I’m excited to meet students and families on campus at SJCS and share in a Christ-centered approach to learning where Jesus is truly the center.
