Professional Biography

Before entering the world of education, I worked in several diverse and people-centered roles. As a shipping manager, I learned how to organize efficiently, manage high-pressure situations, and lead a team with accountability. My time as a sales representative taught me the value of clear communication, resilience, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with people from all walks of life. Working as a restaurant server reminded me daily of the power of patience, humility, and meeting others’ needs with a cheerful spirit—even on the hardest days. And, perhaps most personally impactful, was my time as a nanny, where I developed a deep care for the well-being of children, learning how to nurture, guide, and support their emotional and developmental needs with compassion and consistency.

Each of these roles, though varied, prepared me to meet the challenges and joys of teaching with empathy, discipline, and grace. My journey to Christ later in life has given me a unique perspective—I know what it means to search for truth, to wrestle with identity and purpose, and to finally find peace and belonging in Him. That experience fuels my passion to walk alongside students not just academically, but spiritually, modeling the love of Jesus and creating a classroom where growth, grace, and excellence are valued.

I believe that God uses every part of our story for His glory. My path to the classroom may look different from others’, but I trust it was orchestrated by a God who wastes nothing. I am excited and honored to pour into the next generation—helping students discover not only who they are, but whose they are.

Personal Biography

My journey of faith has been marked by growth, humility, and a profound sense of calling. As someone who found Christ later in life, I carry a deep empathy for those still searching, and a strong desire to walk alongside young people in their own spiritual journeys. I believe that my unique background equips me to connect with students from diverse experiences and to meet them with the same grace and truth that changed my life. I did not grow up in the Christian faith, but by God’s grace, I came to know Jesus as an adult—a turning point that reshaped every aspect of my life, including how I view purpose, people, and the calling to teach.

I aim to create a space where students feel safe, seen, and challenged. I seek to integrate biblical principles into daily learning—not only through Scripture, and Worship but by modeling Christ’s love through how I teach, encourage, and respond. I view teaching in a Christian school as more than a job—it is a ministry, one that I am deeply honored and humbled to be part of. Each day, I strive to bring excellence in both academics and discipleship, trusting that God will use my story, skills, and surrendered heart to help shape the next generation for His kingdom. 

Christian Philosophy of Education

My approach to education is rooted in the biblical truth that every child is created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27) and is therefore deserving of dignity, purpose, and love. Students are not just minds to be filled, but souls to be nurtured. I strive to create a learning environment where grace, respect, and discipline coexist—where students are encouraged to grow not only in knowledge, but also in character and faith. As Christ came to serve, I hope to equip young people to become servant leaders—compassionate, thoughtful, and courageous in their convictions. In all things, I pray that my work brings glory to God and helps shape hearts and minds that will reflect His truth and love in the world.
