Linda Bidan

Professional Biography

My passion for teaching began when I started teaching Sunday school classes at my church. I pursued my passion for early childhood education on a professional level after having my own children by working part time as a preschool teacher at SJCS. After a few years of on the job experience, I wanted to enhance my knowledge and skills and began taking courses at San Jose City College. I completed a total of 15 units in early childhood education while continuing to work as a preschool teacher. As I continue to learn and grow alongside my students every day, I am constantly looking for new ways to strengthen my skills as a teacher. I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to work with my incredible students, their wonderful families and my amazing colleagues.

Personal Biography

I grew up in Tehran, Iran and moved to the United States in 2005. My faith is an extremely important part of who I am and I love being involved in my church community. I am involved as a Sunday school teacher, choir member and events committee member. I am happily married with two children, a boy and a girl. In our free time, my family and I love going to the beach, camping and hiking.

Christian Philosophy of Education

Christian philosophy of teaching is centered around Christ and guiding children as they make decisions and choices both inside and outside of school. As Christian educators, we have the opportunity to reach our children at a young and impressionable age in order to guide them towards the path of our Lord. It is a blessing to be able to come every day and watch students grow and learn from one another. A Bible verse that brings me peace and I share with my children says, “Remember, I commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid, because the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1‬‬:‭9‬ ERV)
