Kalin Tchiang

Professional Biography

Credentialed in Child Development Education and experienced through the Montessori school system, I have gained invaluable hand-on experience working with children with a focus on their care, education, and development. I am passionate about teaching children essential Christian principles and values that will guide and shape them for the rest of their lives. These passions and personal values were only further strengthened as I served in the church for many years as a Sunday School teacher.

Personal Biography

Born and raised in a loving Christian family with believing parents and grandparents, I have been involved in the church all my life and in the Children’s Ministry, in particular, for over seven years. It was a joy and blessing at each Sunday School to see our children grow and develop in a happy, healthy, and respectful environment. I also had the privilege of serving in Asia during several mission trips, witnessing children in underdeveloped and underprivileged contexts, eager to know about our Loving Savior. Each trip has inspired and motivated me to grow deeper in my faith in God.

Christian Philosophy of Education

I believe that children are a gift, a precious and invaluable reward directly from our Heavenly Father: “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.” - Psalm 127:3

It is our goal and responsibility as spiritual teachers and leaders to guide and teach our children in their early stages of life so they can be prepared to face the challenges that are to come ahead. 

A personal verse that I love: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” - Proverbs 22:6
