Third grade students begin learning more complex concepts in each subject area. In math, students begin learning about multiplication, fractions, problem solving and measurements. In grammar, they are introduced to the parts of speech. In science, students begin dealing with how to care for and use God's gifts in creation. Third grade students are encouraged to become more responsible and independent learners who are making connections between the curriculum and their Christian life.
