I graduated from Corban University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education along with a minor in Biblical Studies. During my time at Corban, I played four years of softball on an athletic scholarship. Before joining the SJCS faculty full time, I was part of SJCS’s Summer Camp staff for six years. After serving as a preschool teacher for a little over one year, I am now the Athletic Director.
I was born in San Jose, California, and attended SJCS from Junior Kindergarten - 8th Grade. SJCS is very special to my family and me, as my Grandfather was one of the founders of the school. Teaching runs in the family – my mother, along with three of my four siblings, are teachers! I attend Central Christian Church in San Jose. I am also passionate about softball and am excited to continue coaching the SJCS team. GO TIGERS! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and all things Disneyland!
Christian Philosophy of Education:
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6) As a Christian educator, I want to partner with parents and teach my students to love God and follow His ways. My desire is to help students discover their gifts and develop their abilities and use them to serve in God’s Kingdom.
