Accelerated Reader Program
ARP is offered to our students
to encourage good/enjoyable reading habits.
Students are asked to choose books from
a large pre-selected group, read one and
then take a comprehension exam. Children
“earn” ARP points (point value
dependent on the reading level of each book)
for their successful completion. Points
are redeemable in our ARP “store”
on a regular basis. Students are graded
on the number of “points” they
accumulate over each grading period.
