100 Day Challenge

November 27, 2017
By Jennifer Thompson

We have just kicked off our Annual Bridge Fund – the 100 Day challenge. I am excited to see how God is going to use these 100 days to provide for His school. It got me thinking about what I could personally accomplish in the next 100 days. Here is a quick list of what I am committed to doing everyday for the next 100 days:

1. Say something positive to someone

2. Exercise (Some days, this might be 10 trips up and down the stairs, I’ll be

honest about that right up front.)

3. Pray for SJCS (For our terrific teachers, our fabulous families, our special

students.)

4. Read a Psalm (I’ll do this for 150 days in order to finish the book!)

5. Memorize Psalm 100

It will not take me 100 days to memorize this Psalm, but I will recite this everyday for 100 days. As we enter the time of year of giving, gratefulness, celebration, and joy, may God’s Word be on our lips as live in community with each other.

Psalm 100

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his [a];
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
